The Hyundai HY3600SEi is the most powerful inverter generator in the Hyundai Power Equipment range, producing a maximum output of 3.4kW. Designed for the leisure market, it’s the perfect generator for camping trips and as a power supply to go in your caravan or motorhome. The impressive power output of the HY3600SEi also means it can be used as a backup supply for your home during power cut.

Powered by the Hyundai HX229, a large 6.6hp 229cc engine, the HY3600SEi is one of the most powerful inverter generators in the world today. Larger in design and also weighing more than the other inverter generators in the Hyundai range, the HY36000SEi is still relatively portable, weighing only 55kg. For the power this machine provides this is extremely impressive. It also comes with a carry handle and a wheel set, which compensates for the extra weight as you can easily push or pull the machine to the desired location.

You can start the 3600SEi via three methods: recoil start, electric key start or remote control start. This gives the user flexibility in how they operate their generator, being able to start it manually or from a distance. The remote control start works up to a range of 20 metres for maximum convenience – many users favour the remote control as they can start and stop the generator from the comfort of their bed.

The HY3600SEi uses the same pure sine wave technology as the rest of the inverter generator range, which mimics the power produced by the mains supply and makes it completely safe to use with sensitive electronics such as laptops, TVs, mobile phone and tablet chargers, etc. 

For times when the generator is required to produce a lower output than the maximum 3.4kW users can engage the ‘ECO’ mode which slows the engine revs to match the power output that is required. This not only helps increase the lifespan of the engine but also lowers the noise it produces. 

During normal use the HY3600SEi has a noise rating of 59dB @ 7m, which is quiet enough to easily talk over and should be fine for use in areas where noise pollution is a concern.

Like all other Hyundai inverter generators, the HY3600SEi can be converted to run on LPG, which is proving extremely popular with caravan users.
