How to find us by water

On approaching Dartmouth Harbour, leave the Castle Ledge buoy (and Kingswear Castle) to starboard.

Leave the Checkstone buoy (and Dartmouth Castle) to port.

After entering the harbour, the Royal Dart Yacht Club (RDYC) is clearly visible to starboard.

Immediately after the RDYC is the slipway for the Lower Car Ferry between Kingswear and Dartmouth. Most of the time two ferries operate, so take care to avoid both of them.

The Passenger Ferry pontoon in Kingswear is immediately after the Lower Car Ferry slipway. The Passenger Ferry goes diagonally across the river to the main quay in Dartmouth, a little further upstream than its pontoon in Kingswear.

Darthaven Marina lies just beyond the Passenger Ferry pontoon. Contact us on VHF channel 80 – the visitors' pontoons are as marked on the right.
