Operation Southman - Legacy

Legacy arrives at Darthaven

We at Darthaven would all like to wish the crew of Legacy a very warm welcome to Dartmouth. Although we also hoped they may have brought some better weather with them!

Legacy arrived in dartmouth after the team traveled the Caribbean to Antigua, crossed the Atlantic to the Azores and are then going on to compete in UK Cowes Regatta before returning home to Trinidad.

Legacy is a 43’ Soverel design fiberglass hull racing yacht with a cored deck and 3-spreader mast. She was built by Formula III Marine in Chaguaramas between1983-84.  Legacy has been TTYA boat of the year multiple times and achieved victories throughout the Caribbean. Her achievements are recognized by the race marks named after Legacy in Trinidad, Antigua, Barbados and Grenada.

Your sure not to miss Legacy’s bright colours as she is currently out the water next to our berthing office.
