Darthaven Marina tries to recycle as much waste as possible. With your help, we can do more.
Three classes of waste skips are provided near the top of the gangway from the pontoons. From right to left in the picture they are:
Waste oil/diesel – dispose in container under black railway bridge.
Anodes and batteries – both lead/acid and domestic batteries can be left where marked near main skips – plus anodes where separately marked.
Oil filters – by waste oil or by engineers workshop..
Flares – Out of date flares are accepted if you purchase replacements from our chandlery. Otherwise please take out of date flares to a coastguard station.
