Live weather

Darthaven is a sponsor of the National Coastwatch Institution volunteer-manned lookout at Froward Point. Froward Point is the headland closest to the marina to the South and East. Weather recording equipment installed there enables us to provide live weather reporting on this website.

To see the weather display, you need to have Flash Player version 8 or later installed on your computer. If it is not already installed, you can download it at no charge by clicking this button:

If you can see the display of dials and bars on the right, then you do have the appropriate Flash Player installed.

Hopefully the readout is self explanatory. You can see historical data in graphical or numeric form by clicking the buttons at the bottom left corner.

In addition, a webcam has been installed. Click the small image on the right for a larger version of the current view from the station across Start Bay.
